Good Lad Clothing Co. – Outdoor Patio
This unique combination of a coffee shop, a mens retail clothing shop and a barbershop all in one tenant space lacked one thing: an outdoor patio for customers to enjoy their coffee. The sunny east facing area in front of the shop was enclosed with bar counters and furnished with tables, chairs and overhead radiant patio heaters, providing customers with a multi season place to linger with their coffee beverages.
Zimba Design created the space plan and layout, specified materials and managed the permit process with the city of North Vancouver. Special considerations were taken for accessibilty requirements from the BC Building Code. The result was a welcoming gathering spot in the Shipyards neighborhood.

We hired to Pam Chilton of Zimba Designs to design the latest edition to our wonderful North Vancouver Men’s Clothing and Coffee shop called Goodlad Clothing Co. Her attention to detail in creating the imagery for the Patio was as good as we could have imagined. Everything from her communication with us to her permit applications were as smooth as ever. We will happily recommend Pam and cannot wait to use her services again on future endeavours.
