Accountants’ Office

This project was necessary to accomodate a staff expansion to an already thriving CPA practice. The clients had obtained a second tenant space in the same building as their original office and outfitted it with additional offices and a coffee room to take on the load of more staff. Formerly a dosctor’s office, this project required a change of use from Group E to Group D as defined in the BC Building Code which activated many additional considerations for fire and life saftey.

We space planned the areas, specified fixtures and finishes, managed the building permit process, and liaised with the general contractor and buiding inspector throughout the project timeline.

Despite being a relatively small tenant space, we achieved 5 individual offices, 3 work stations in the open office, and a small kitchen for the client. To allow for the maximum number of offices, the entry door into the tenant space was relocated.

With the conversion from a drab medical office to a bright accounting office complete, these accountants are ready to crunch your numbers. Bring on tax time!
